The sea in Misano is clear and clean, and these peculiarities are guaranteed by the Bandiera Blu (blue flag), an important prize that the town, together with other Italian seaside resorts, has received from many years for the cleanliness of its sea and beach. Besides pedalos, to explore this wonderful sea you can also rent canoes, while those who have a passion for fishing can practice their favourite hobby going on the rocks that have been built to limit the erosion of the sea. Misano is very appreciated also for its sea front, which was realised in 2004 and offers many chances to tourists: from dance parties to special events, like the "Notte Rosa" (pink night), the sea front of Misano is very lively, but is very appreciated also by those who wish to take a relaxing walk or ride, occasionally throwing a glance at the sea.However, in Misano there are not only the beach and the sea: the landscape of the city, which is surrounded by green hills, is much more varied than that, and includes also the wonderful faunistic reserve of the river Conco, the Camilluccia Park and the Mare Nord Park. The reserve covers 700 hectares and includes various towns, not only Misano: you can visit it by bike or on foot, thanks to the bicycle path and several paths, and admire many species of birds, some of them being very rare, like the white stork. In the reserve, indeed, there is a bird observatory, but you can sight many birds also out of the observatory. Both the Camilluccia and the Mare Nord Park are valid alternatives to the beach and, unlike the beach, they are ideal places to relax not only in summer. Both parks are fit for a picnic with family and friends or for walks in nature, and the Mare Nord Park hosts also some sporting events.
